Tasteful Memories helps families preserve recipes, photographs and the stories behind their food in a professionally printed cookbook. QR codes can also let readers hear a familiar voice or watch a dish being made.

Anyone who wants to preserve family recipes and memories, whether as a gift, a shared family project or a book of their own. You do not need to be an experienced cook or writer.

That’s completely fine. Personalised questions help uncover memories of everyday meals, celebrations and the people connected to them. Everyone has memories tied to food, even if no recipes have been written down yet.

Yes. Questions open from email on a phone, tablet or computer, with no app or login needed. They can answer by speaking, video or writing, and family can help too.

Tasteful Memories starts at $49. Both editions include 12 months to create and one full-color printed book, ordered when your cookbook is ready. Premium includes every Basic creation feature, plus handwritten recipe-card recreation and extra writing tools. The included book is a softcover with Basic or a hardcover with Premium. Shipping and extra copies cost extra.

Tasteful Memories is designed as a year-long process rather than a one-time book purchase. The subscription supports weekly guided questions, recording, transcription, editing and family collaboration while your cookbook grows.

When the paid year ends, new questions pause and a 90-day finishing period begins. During those 90 days, you can continue editing and prepare the cookbook for print.

If you do not renew after that period, editing pauses, but nothing you created is deleted. You can still read your cookbook, play saved recordings through its QR codes and order printed copies. Renew later whenever you want to continue creating.

Renewal gives you another year of questions and creation tools. It does not include another printed book, but any included book you have not ordered remains available.

You can turn off automatic renewal at any time in Plans and billing. We send the payer reminders before the paid year ends and before an automatic renewal.

New questions pause at the end of the paid year. You then have another 90 days to finish editing and prepare the cookbook for print.

After those 90 days, editing pauses, but your recipes, stories and recordings remain saved. You can still read the cookbook and order printed copies, or renew when you want to continue creating.

Renewal gives you another 12 months of questions, editing and the processing features included in your edition. It does not include another printed book. Any included book you have not ordered remains available.

Yes. The person paying for the subscription can turn off automatic renewal in Plans and billing. Access continues until the end of the paid year, followed by the 90-day editing period.

No. Talk through a recipe, record yourself making it, write directly or add photographs. Recordings are automatically transcribed and cleaned up so you can edit the text before it enters the book.

Yes. Premium can recreate the original arrangement of a handwritten recipe card or notebook page as an editable cookbook page, without retyping it. You can review and change every detail before adding it to the book.

We transcribe the recording, remove filler words and choose a page template based on what was shared. The written version is placed into the template automatically, ready for you to edit and add photographs.

Yes. Start with a written or scanned recipe and add voice or video recordings later. You do not need to capture everything when the page is first created.

Yes. An entry can include several recordings, such as a cooking demonstration and a separate story about the dish. Its QR code brings those recordings together.

No. Your cookbook can contain written recipes, photographs and stories without recordings. Pages without recordings are printed without a QR code.

We suggest questions based on the profile completed for the author, including their life, family and food traditions. You can also choose from the question collection or add your own.

Yes. Replace it with another question from the collection, change the wording or add a question of your own.

A question arrives by email each week by default. You can change the schedule and answer when it suits you.

Nothing is lost. The question remains in your account, ready to answer whenever you have time.

Yes. Add a recipe, photograph or memory whenever something comes to mind. Questions are there to help you begin, not to limit what belongs in the cookbook.

Pages with recordings include a QR code. Scan it with a phone to hear the memory or watch the cooking video connected to that page. An internet connection is needed for playback.

Yes. Change the wording, add or move photographs, rearrange sections, choose the page design, organise chapters and personalise the cover. You can preview the finished cookbook before ordering it.

There is no fixed recipe count. Each cookbook can have up to 200 pages. How many recipes fit depends on their length and the photographs and memories you include.

The printed copy stays connected to the recordings included in that edition. New recordings can be included when you order an updated version.

Yes. Once your cookbook is ready, you can order extra copies in softcover or hardcover, regardless of the edition you bought. You can also update the cookbook and order a new version as you add more recipes and memories.

We ship to most countries. Available shipping methods and costs depend on the destination and are shown when you order your printed book.

Your cookbook usually arrives within 7–16 business days of placing your print order. Shipping options and estimated delivery dates are shown at checkout. You will receive tracking when the book ships.

Send the gift first. The recipient then creates their cookbook at their own pace and can invite family to contribute. They order the included printed book when it is ready.

The recipient’s 12 months begin on the scheduled gift-delivery date. You can start access earlier if needed, in which case the 12 months begin on that earlier date while the gift email still arrives as scheduled.

Yes. Invite relatives to add recipes, stories and photographs. They can also simply read, listen and watch as the cookbook grows.

Your cookbook is accessible to you and the relatives you invite. Recordings shared through QR codes can be played by anyone with the code or link, without signing in. You can turn off playback for a printed edition.

Yes. Your saved recordings remain available, so the QR codes in printed cookbooks continue to play them after the subscription ends.

Yes. If Tasteful Memories is not right for you, request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided you have not ordered your printed book. Once a printed book has been ordered, the money-back guarantee no longer applies.

Contact our support team. We replace books that arrive with printing defects or shipping damage and may ask for photographs to help resolve the problem.
